PALIKIR, POHNPEI, January 7, 2021. Speaker Wesley W. Simina calls for the 6th Regular Session of the 21st Congress of the Federated States of Micronesia to convene on Monday, January 11, 2021, for the duration of 20 days following the usual times of 10.a.m. Chuuk, Yap and Guam; and 11a.m. Pohnpei and Kosrae time.
Congress will be reviewing and addressing the expiration of the amended Emergency Health Declaration among other matters of importance to the nation.
Based on the restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic that the nation is currently situated in, the session will be held remotely. In respecting the nation’s current health measures, social distancing will be adhered to and regretfully cannot invite guests to the sessions. However, sessions will be Live and the public and all interested parties are welcome to witness the sessions by accessing our website: cfsm.gov.fm.
