23rd FSM Congress Resolutions

To confirm the nomination of Ms. Anna H. Mendiola to serve as a
representative for the FSM National Government to the Joint Trust Fund
Committee.

Requesting the United States end its comprehensive economic embargo
on the Republic of Cuba.

Authorizing the President to resubmit the nomination of Ms. Anna H.
Mendiola to serve as a board member of the Compact Trust Fund of the
Federated States of Micronesia.

pproving and accepting a grant from the European Union through the
Pacific Community (SPC) as the Regional Implementing Agency, in the
amount of EUR 505,000 for the implementation of the Building Safety
and Resilience in the Pacific Phase II (BSRP II) Project in the FSM,
including all the terms and conditions of the assistance.

To confirm the nomination of Mr. Andrew Robert Yatilman to serve as a
member of the U.S.-FSM Compact of Free Association Joint Economic
Management Committee (JEMCO), representing the National Government.

To confirm the nomination of Mr. Leo A. Falcam Jr. to serve as a
member of the U.S.-FSM Compact of Free Association Joint Economic
Management Committee (JEMCO) from the State nominees.

To confirm the nomination of Mr. Alexander R. Narruhn to serve as a
member of the U.S.-FSM Compact of Free Association Joint Economic
Management Committee (JEMCO) from the State nominees.

Approving and accepting a grant from the United Nations Development
Programme (UNDP), in the amount of $350,000, for the Multi-Country
Western Pacific Integrated HIV/TB Programme, under the Global Fund
Grant Agreement to fund prevention and control of HIV/AIDS and
tuberculosis in the FSM, including all the terms and conditions of
the assistance.

Approving and accepting a grant from the United States Department of
the Interior, National Park Service, in the amount of $545,891, to
fund and support the FSM National and State Historic Preservation
Offices (HPOs), including all the terms and conditions of the
assistance.

Approving and accepting supplemental funding from the International
Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in the amount of $833,966 by
the amendment of the Financial Agreement for the Small Islands Food
and Water Project (SIFWaP), including all the terms and conditions of
the assistance.

Approving and accepting a grant in the amount of $385,185 from the
United States Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention, to fund and support the prevention
and control of chronic disease and associated risk factors in the
FSM, including all the terms and conditions of the assistance.

Approving and accepting a grant in the amount of $1,500,000 from the
World Health Organization for funding national health priority areas
for the period of 2024 to 2025, including all the terms and
conditions of the assistance.

To confirm the nomination of Mr. Wilson F. Waguk to serve as a board
member of the Board of Directors of the National Oceanic Resource
Management Authority (NORMA), representing the State of Kosrae.

To confirm the nomination of Mr. Joseph Habuchmai to serve as member
of the Federated States of Micronesia Insurance Board.

To confirm the nomination of Mr. Robert I. Taulung to serve as the
FSM National Election Commissioner for the State of Kosrae.
