PALIKIR, POHNPEI. September 14, 2026. In a move to strengthen long-standing diplomatic ties, the newly appointed Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy to the Federated States of Micronesia, Mr. Wylie Andrew paid a courtesy call on Speaker Esmond B. Moses of the 24th FSM Congress. The introductory visit served as an official meeting for Mr. Andrew to familiarize and acquaint with the leadership of the legislative branch prior to the opening of the 5th Regular Session of the F.S.M. Congress on September 15, 2026.
Speaker Moses welcomed Mr. Andrew to the F.S.M. Congress and began the meeting with open and shared discussions for both leaders to casually share insights from their respective careers and backgrounds, blending diplomatic priorities with personal perspectives.
